PS Lauds State Department’s Procurement Team for Full Compliance with the Electronic Government Procurement (eGP) System

The Principal Secretary of the State Department for Shipping and Maritime Affairs, Mr. Aden Millah, has commended the procurement team for ensuring the Department achieves 100 per cent compliance with the Electronic Government Procurement (eGP) System.
The PS made the remarks during a meeting convened at the NSSF Annex Building boardroom to review the uptake of the eGP system and identify areas for improvement aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in the Department’s operations.
He noted that attaining full eGP compliance marks a significant milestone in strengthening transparency, accountability, and service delivery within the State Department.
The meeting also discussed targeted capacity-building initiatives to ensure the procurement team is fully equipped for optimal and seamless implementation of the system.
